Eh,many of those peta video's are propaganda...animals skinned alive,dolphin slaughters(those two were both very brutal,hate filling video's)...either its their culture or its simply not the norm.

Some of the video's cause racism and hate like you wouldn't believe(like on the ogrish forums)

www.ogrish.com has such video's but more interesting are peoples reactions to them on the forums.

I have nothing against eating that fake meat stuff either. I used to work at a Blimpies and would make wraps with those vegi patties, along with rostbeef on the same wrap, but i just love my steak....and i love eggs, and veal, and fish, and potatoes.
I don't drink milk too much....its for baby cows. I drink about a gallon of water a day though.

Pony,what do you eat mostly?...I would love a vegitarian high protien diet,low fat diet ideal for lifting and overall well being,but dont want to feel hungry and eat lettuce and beans all day.

I'm currently hooked on popeyes chicken and burger king...not healthy food by any standard,but its quick(no preparation).I don't like many vegi's except potatoes and my only experience with vegi patties and such were chicken nuggets...they burned my mouth off!Each one required a half of glass of water to calm the hellfire in my mouth.lol.

well well well.... i thought the reason kfc tasted so good was the colonels secret blend of herbs and spices.. but alas the secret ingredient is CRUELTY..... bahaha ahhahaha ahahah please excuse me while i catch my breath. I would MUCH rather get protien out of a steak than some supplement. This PETA organization also tries to guilt trip you out of drinking milk for god sakes. Whats interesting in one of those videos is at the very end it shows pigs running around playing and having a hell of a time.. but thats impossible from the second of their birth pigs are tortured and put through hell on earth.... give me a break.

okay I just watched two videos on that PETA site.. and I'm thinking that alot of what they were saying is bull-crap! for example! they mentioned dairy cows, and my grandparents have a diary farm, so I know a little about it, my mom would know more about it then me, but for one thing, it doesn't hurt the cows to milk them. and the second thing, they are not kept in small little cages all day, they are kept in small cages for the milking, then they are let out to graze in a big feild the way any normal cow would. and also, I'm not so sure that every calf is sent off to be made into veal. so if the PETA was able to exaggerate the truth on this one area, what makes you think they weren't exaggerating the truth in other areas? although I would have to say that there has to be a better way of killing the animals other than slitting the throat. that just seems like it would make a huge mess and torture the animal more than it needed to be... of course, perhaps that isn't how every slaughter house functions, just the ones that PETA chose for these videos. there is definately some truth in these videos, but it was definately stretched and exaggerated

Do the sit-ups really help the abs show,or is body fat better exterminated through cardio(like bikes,treadmills e.c.t)?

I know doing sit-ups builds up lactic acid(the 'pain' thats meant to be ignored)like many lifting routines but does that actually aid in the reduction of body fat,or help muscle growth or both?
