Description
As we've said before, this song is a product of heavy studio production. A good example of this is the second rhythm guitar in the verse. It's an electric guitar for tonal variation and the strumming pattern used accentuates the bass line. More simply stated, this part gives the verse a bit more drive.
This guitar is tuned in Drop D tuning for our purposes. On the original recording it was in standard tuning, but there's no way to play this part and the chorus riff together without tuning this guitar to Drop D. This allows you to play all the parts onstage without having a seperate guitar or a second guitarist.
