Description
Here we're using a B chord, and this is an A formation barre chord. If you don't know barre chords, you'll probably want to get familiar with them before you try this. It's basically the same exercise, and you can do this with any A formation barre chord.
Play the 5th string in the 2nd fret with the pick, and play the double stop with your fingers. You want your picking hand where you can pull up on the 3rd, and 4th strings with the middle and ring finger.
Again we're not using any palm muting techniques on this one either, but give it a try after you get comfortable with the lesson. Practice it with all these lessons, and we will start covering this in more detail soon.
This is a root/5 exercise too, the root is the 5th (A) string in the 2nd fret. The 4th (D) string in the 4th fret is an F# note, and that's the 5th note. The 3rd (G) string in the 4th fret, is another B note.
