Description
In this one we're using an F chord, and it is an E formation barre chord. If you don't know barre chords, you'll probably want to get familiar with them before you try this. It's basically the same exercise, and you can do this with any E formation barre chord.
Play the 6th string in the 1st fret with the pick, and the double stop with your fingers. In this one you pull up on the 4th, and 5th strings with the middle and ring finger. We're using the full chord in all of these lessons, eventhough we're not playing all the strings.
We're not using any palm muting techniques on this one either, but if you haven't tried it yet, give it a shot after you get comfortable with the lesson.
This one is also a root/5 exercise, the root is the 6th (big E) string in the 1st fret. The 5th (A) string in the 3rd fret is a C note, which is the 5th note. The 4th (D) string in the 3rd fret, is another F note.
