Description
When you hear the opening riff of this sound, you instantly know what song it is. The riff starts on the low G, then the octave, and descends to F, E, and D. The first four bars you just play these notes; the second four bars you bring in the D and B open strings and pick them as you descend through the F, E and D notes within the riff. The constant open D and B strings create that chiming sound that give the riff so much appeal. The bass follows the guitar in this pattern.
