Description
A guitar's volume controls can effect the tone produced as much as any pedal or amplifier setting. In this lesson, I've set the Volume knob (not the Master Volume) fairly high. We'll see how the guitar's volume knob controls the overdriven tone of the amp.
This is like putting another pre-amp on your tone. Try this trick with all volume settings on your amp without effects to see how your guitar can produce dynamic tone change.
