WOW! you're really good dude. I used to draw all the time up untill a few years ago when I broke my hand....twice. now I just cant do it anymore. But I do draw and design on the computer. I work for a sign company drawing the artwork for the signs, so I'm still able to express my artistic creativity.

How do I spend my time? Well, for the most part, doing things I enjoy. Work takes up a lot of time and I always make time for Catherine my wife however, in addition:

Guitars, Drums, Bass, singing, recording technology, books, movies, music in general, computers (Macs and PCs), and sleeping (when I have time!) and the occasional glass of falling over water !

My instructors page and www.studiotrax.net for all things recording.

When I'm not playing guitar or going to class I play Euchre online at yahoo. (it's a card game). I'm really quite professional at it which is sad in a way.

...I'd love to know your thoughts on my work. Anyone else here draw?...

I took a quick look at your drawings bro', Good Stuff'! It's a good talent & it can be a valuable asset if/when you work in the music biz'.

CHECK THIS OUT...
(This is one of mine)

Click this Link & get the above pic' as a desktop wallpaper.

This is from a series of re-creations I do, NOT primarily for the "artwork value", but I have done this kind of thing for a side-gig making extra money. These were originaly intended for personal reasons. For many years I've studied Theosophy and Pharaonic Theocracy. Recreating the precision of [these] measurements helps with understanding quantum physics equations, microcosmic perspectives, relative functions of the human glands/organs, and other wAcKy things...

Sorry to digress; but I didn't want my brothers here, to think I was sharing my drawing as any "false claims" for my artwork. It's merely part of my studies.

Thanx' again for sharing your stuff' Matt! Dig it!

Well you're right, I play guitar all the time and have alot of interest in guitar technology and recording. In the winter I try to ski every weekend, I dirt-bike in the summer. I sketch sometimes, nothing big really, just ideas. I also like photography.

Tugging the noodle does'nt count!? Damn. :(

Very nice work by the way. :)

Im currently finishing my final year of A levels and my courses consist of Art, Design technology and Information Communication Technology. But art is my strongest subject. :)

You can have a look at my deviant art account to see some work of mine. The latest vibes pieces (hence why my alias is now vibes.) are part of my most recent art project.

Yeah very cool sketches, man. I used to draw but like PRSplaya, I broke my wrist a few times and now I can't draw a shape for the life of me. Other than guitar and music, I enjoy movies, video games, hanging out, and just whatever comes along that day. I'm also really into astronomy.

Well, when I'm not playing guitar, I'm working, playing hockey for uni, hanging with my girlfriend, or trying to catch some much needed sleep.

Very nice drawings. I can't draw, wish I could, it's very expressive. I doodle a lot while im in class. Probably explains my 4 years plus in uni. :)

Sometimes I hit notes only dogs can hear.

There's a Tae Kwan Do place behind my house and I once heard some asian guy doing a high-pitched scream for 3 minutes (I pictured him flying in a circle around the room in a flying kick position.) Anyway, do you recommend it as decent self-defense or is it more meditation stuff? I'm going to research it right now.

Yeah, I just need something to go along with working out so that I don't get kicked around again the next time I fly into a drunken rage, haha.

I don't know about anywhere else, but where I go we learn pratical defense also. Like last class we learn how to make someone fall backward by poking their throat in a certain place, how to get out of someone choking you, and how to get out of a head lock. Its really good excercise too. Sparring is the best, you actually get to fight and wee...

I thought your stuff was pretty good too. But I have two friends who are phenomenal artists, so when I say pretty good, I'm comparing you to them. Which is somewhat unfair. Although one of them is a raging egotist whom I hope never finds out I'm talking about him (His ego might overload), they're still both really good. So when I say you're stuff is pretty good, I mean it's some awesome stuff that I wish I could do, but can't in a million years. Lemme see...other than guitar...stroking the salami. Oh, wait, is THAT what you meant by tugging the noodle? Damn...besides being a high fidelity-esque rock snob, I also dabble in movie snobbery.

I think masturbation should just not be included in this forum anymore as a general rule. Its disturbing on so many levels, and it annoys me with the wrath of a 1000 paper cuts in a sea of lemon juice. No more references to jacking off... please.

Ever met guys who act like they know a whole lotta **** but can'tdo a damn thing?
I'm like that.
My only claim to art is a set of coloured pencils and a drawing book that I bought in June but are yet to use.
I suppose the fact that I did go out there and buy them means something, huh?
When I was in class 2 or 3(that's thesame as grade school class 2 or 3),we were required to draw a locust for our scinece class. Some people traced the l;ocust from their text books.I just looked at it and drew it,and my drawing was nicer than all the others. The other kids started to ask me to draw for them.I drew for the ones I liked, and dissed the rest(my one minute of fame-maybe it's the hangover from this that made me pick up the guitar).
Like so may things in my life,I'll get around to working on that latent talent(nice play with words!!)if at all I got any.
Matt, you draw really well.Would you oblige me if I asked you to make sketches of me to use when I update my site(another of those things I've been meaning to do for ages but not actually doing).
I'm trying to learn to use Freehand(along with dreamweaver and flash)but software never made an artist.
