Description

Any acoustic guitar can be used to play this song, but one with a brighter tone will help cut through the band mix a bit better.

For the electric, I’m using a Les Paul set for the bridge pickup, but any electric guitar is suitable.

As far as amps go, any Marshall style tube amp is a desirable choice. Set the amp for a clean sound. Set the Drive to 40%, Bass to 50%, Mid to 55%, Treble to 65%, and Presence to 65%.

Use an overdrive pedal for the interlude and later chorus sections, or set up a crunch channel on your channel switching amp to compliment your clean channel. Add reverb to all guitars for depth.

I’m using 10-46 gage for the electric with a heavy pick. For the acoustic I’m using 11-52 string gage with a medium pick.

Here are the settings I used:
Marshall Plexi Model:
Drive: 40% Bass: 50% Mid: 55% Treb: 65% Presence: 65%
Overdrive:
Gain: 50% Tone: 50% Level: 60%

For slide solo, increase gain to 100% and add echo:
Digital Delay: Time: 385 ms Feedback: 45% Wet/DryMIX: 45%
Reverb: WetDryMIX: 35%

ACOUSTIC TUNING (low to high):
B D(low) D D(mid) D D(high)
