Description
You may already be familiar with a few scale patterns, but something that will really help your tapping is to know them horizontally - on one string.
There's a really good chance that notes from the A minor scale will sound good if you're playing a tapping solo over a chord progression that's in the key of Am.
Learning the notes on the entire fretboard is a long process, but start with the A natural minor scale on the high E string and the B string. That will let you play over lots of songs.
