Well I know this movie is quite old, but what do you think of that 10 year old guitarist. Personally, i think he is a better classical guitarist than rock.

Well I don't think he actually played the classical parts, but he did play the rock stuff. Remember, that movie was filmed like 3yrs ago, I think Joey was around 12 when he did the movie, I'm sure his playing is way above that now.

He was 10 when the movie was filmed (according to him and the entire cast)
He didn't play the classical parts. He "somewhat" says that he didn't in the commentary with the kids during the movie (which was lame, btw).

The kid can play that generic rock style very well, but the only thing that impressed me was his age. There was no personality in his solos (because it was generic!), but I do give him credit. He did as they asked, I wonder if he's an original player outside of film?

You got to give any young player credit because they are still young and just learning but 10 is an impressive age to be noticed as a guitar player
