ok ive talked about this alot here and looked for months for witch guitar i want Narrowed it down to three

Gibson Faded flying V- like the sound love the neck
But is it apropriate for sweep arpegios?

ibanez destroyer-like the neck and sound-some what uncomfortable though
with this one also the same question

and lastly Fender strat with a repaced neck (warmoth) with some higher frets and scalloping

if anyone thinks i should go with the third can someone help with what i should get on the warmoth neck?

The Gibson V has the same sort of problem ant the neck joint as the SG does. The pickup pocket is so close the the end of the body that there is not much wood to support the stress. My V is a neck-through design, which works much better. I don't think you will find any at your local music shops. It's an old Odyssey Custom. The luthier died alnost 30 years ago.

If you get the Gibson, be careful with it. Don't ever drop it. And your first neck-bend will be your last one.

Then why bother? That's another $200 right there. Just don't get a strat if you're gonna replace the neck. Unless you're gonna buy a straight up custom guitar. I recommend one of these guitars to ANY guitarist: www.carvin.com Check out the seven strings, they'll rock your socks. And scalloping...so unnecessary. Nobody needs that. All it does is ruin a perfectly good neck.

i love the tone of strats. They are very smooth but i hate the frets they are way too low for me

can i easily and cheaply refret the guitar?
