This is probably a dumb question but does anyone know of either a site somewhere or freeware/shareware (MACINTOSH) that will let me quickly add up the minutes and seconds in a bunch of songs on an album. Using a regular calculator is useless.

why is using a regular calculator useless
you could use a spreadsheet to add it if it's really that complicated for you

Just multiply the number of minutes in a song by 60, and then add the seconds to that number. That's how many seconds there are in a song.
So a song that's 3:23 long, is 203 seconds long.
If you have a bunch of songs, do the same then add up the seconds. Divide that number by 60 to get your minutes. The remainder is the seconds. So if a bunch of songs add up to 3692 seconds. In minutes and seconds thats 61:32 long.
And no I don't know of any software, but it's not that hard. If your adding up media files (like mp3's, or wavs), just put them all in your playlist on a media file player (like winamp) and it should tell you.

If your calculater has a DMS (Degrees/Minutes/Seconds) function, you can use that to add Hours/Minutes/Seconds.

Thanks for all the suggestions but I found one called Chronocalculator.
I already use all the suggestions you guys mentioned.... (ie, I'm not an imbecile)
I work in a recording studio 12 hours a day and don't have time to mess around converting minutes to seconds or dragging and dropping mp3's onto something like Rage in order to figure out the complete time. I needed something that takes up very little screen space, and very little RAM so that it's readily available to quickly add and subtract minutes and seconds for song lengths and calculate booked studio time.
