Wanna hear some different but efficient guitar players??

Here are some guitar players who arent really recognized... but are pretty good.

1) John Mayer ( get passed all the pop... watch his live dvd... he can play some good guitar ... he is a berley graduate remember)
2) Ian Thornley (he is from Big Wreck... nto really known... but pik up one of there cd's hes got some wierd stuff
3)Larry Lalonde (hes from primus... he was taught by Joe Satriani... listen past some of claypools stuff... hes quite good)

Give these guys a try... tell me wut u think

Are you sure? I find it hard to believe because his style is like the total antithesis of satriani.

I also forgot to mention.........

Vernon Reid ( the guitarist of living colour.... very good... he strng skips... plays pretty fast and he writes some kool riffs..... try to get past the cult of peronality)

What's wrong with Cult of Personality? That's an excellent song w/some great playing.
The original bass player for that band was pretty good also.

oh sry ... i didnt mean... its a bad song... but some ppl think they r a one hit wonder... wut i meant was too listen to some of there other material.

How about Marshall Harrison? Definately one of the best guys out there, the king of legato playing I'd say.

well u would think after some skooling in berkley... hed know a lil bit about his instrument.

I mean gosh... Tony Macalpine and John Pertuccie went there.... and they turned out horrible :rolleyes:
