Anybody had any experience with this new guitar yet?
I can't find any dealers that carry it and was curious how it plays. I heard really good things about it's ability to emulate various guitars but one review mentions that the neck isn't very good. (like it's a cookie cutter neck that fits on all models)

I have heard (second hand) that it plays really well and the emulations are good. The only problem is the way it looks (i.e. like a Danelectrico). There is a new version out with a carved top and a trem (optional).
Personally I think it is a great idea however Im going to wait for the price of the carved top to come down / get one second hand (how cheap am I !)

I hate the idea -- granted you can get more tones from one axe but IMO it's not the same. It can sound like'em but it can't 'feel' like all these guitars and to me that is an important factor. Call me old fashioned but there is a lot to be said for the 'feel' of a certain guitar in your hands.
