I have been in the process of choosing an amp for a long time now and I've decided on marshall but I dont know what amp I want. I am willing to spend upto like 700 dollars and I know that most marshalls cost alot more than I have. I went to guitar center and played a few different amps I played the mg250dfx and sounded good then somme guy told me I should try the Avt series, He said they had more "oomph" I was just wondering which series you guys would recomend the mg avt or whatever else they have, but remember I want a combo amp not a half stack, high gain, at least 100watts and footswitchable channels. Would you guys recomend the mg250dfx cause its in my price range and its pretty loud.
