Who are your favourite bands/artists but what do you reckon to be their major let downs?

Satch - 'Joe Satriani ' - respect to JS for not sticking to the same old formula but this is too bluesy and jazzy for me.

Van Halen DLR period - 'Diver Down' -the cover versions here suck.

Steely Dan - 'Aja' lost the rock and got too cafe-jazz

Allmans - 'Win lose or draw' - after 'Brothers.' and 'Eat a Peach' ..just not up to scratch

Aeromsith - 'Get a grip' .'9 lives' . co-writers and more and more ballads.

Police - Synchronicity- lost their edge. too much like chart pop.

Led Zeppelin--They were kind of "forced" to break up(death of Jon Bonham)

The Strokes-no stage preasence

Stones--Glad they are still around but don't make any more songs because they all sound to "pop-ish"

Van Halen-- All of the Hagar Albums

Metallica-- Saint Anger (Let's hope they take their time on the next album)

Our Lady Peace-- Spiritual Machines (Telemaster made a good point by posting that)

That was "Led Zeppelin" who posted the OLP thing, but I do agree.
