I am deciding between buying either a Digitech Trio+ or a  Boss Looper RC-10R. I just want it for home use, something to practice to, and develop songs on.

The Trio appeals because it has the Bass, and the Boss appeals because it seems like a better bit of kit, and you have more control over the drums and looping. I will probably go with the Boss.

Before I buy, have I missed any other piece of kit that would be as good or better, ideally I would have likes the bass as well as the drums.

Thanks!

Others may of had better luck with the trio than I have. I can never get it to do what I want it to. Personally I hate mine lol.

I also have a beat buddy, to play along with, but it doesn't have a looper or bass. A nux Loop core stereo, drums but no bass and a Flamma fx100, same drums. But no bass lol. So I ended up with a zoom r4 and a cheap bass guitar lol.

That was my concern, lack of control on of the Trio.

Yeah, I just end frustrated with it. Most of the time I just play along with backing tracks. Either I get them from YouTube or I run my laptop into that Flamma fx100 and play along. If I can't find the bt on YouTube I use Moises and remove the guitars from the song and play along that way.

What is your opinion of the Beat Buddy, it looks good, no looper but what do you think as a drum pedal? Its a bit more than I wanted to spend, but that always happens.
