hi africa.anfruns just to answer your question you can play about a girl by nirvana on your spanish as you can do this with a lot of songs on the website its usually fast heavy rock songs that you would need to use an electric. Good luck!

It depends on the elements of the song.  In this case, it's a lot of strumming chords, then a brief, single note melodic solo.  All that can be done on any guitar.  The chords & notes are all the same on any guitar.   It won't have the same sound (the timbre) as an electric.  Especially the solo.  But you can learn & play the song just fine on any guitar.

But other songs might have elements that require electric guitar.  For example, certain specific timbral effects, like overdrive, delay, or certain techniques like string bends, vibrato bar use, long held sustain, or more difficult techniques or passages.

Hope that helps!

You can use a Spanish guitar to learn songs that are taught with an electric guitar, but you should be aware of some differences and challenges. A Spanish guitar is the same as a classical guitar, which has nylon strings and a wider neck than an electric guitar. This means that the sound, feel, and playability of the Spanish guitar will be different from the electric guitar.

Sure. It will sound different than electric obviously. Some string techniques like bending may be different or difficult with nylon strings and all, but give it a go. Cool song choice.

Spanish guitar might have a diff vibe, but it's all about getting the hang of those power chords. Just go for it.

Kurt played it unplugged on a steel string acoustic if I'm not mistaken and Spanish guitars and steel string acoustics are actually quite similar. Not the same, but similar.
