Really, another one?  Is that the best you can do?  Even the Rolling Stones themselves probably don't remember half of the songs you're giving us.

The song hit #14 in the U.S., #8 in the U.K..  RollingStone magazine (no relation šŸ¤£) lists the song at #49 of the "100 Greatest Rolling Stones Songs."  The list itself; however, is ten years old.  DavesMusicDatabase.com, which ranks songs according to chart placement, sales, radio and streaming play lists it at #52.

Never mind fans of The Rolling Stones, Mick must think, “Even I’ve never heard of most of these songs…”

I dunno... Keith Richards named his daughter after the song referenced in the op above.

Haha!  That was 50 years ago. Thanks for making my point, John

So... no oldies for you, then?

I understand the feeling.  Many of the most contemporary songs leave me cold.  It's probably an age thing.  šŸ˜‰

Not at all. Oldies/Classics are the only thing that drew me to the site. I already know how to play and I’m sure the courses on fundamentals are up to par when compared to the once prolific number of guitar greats. Do you think something might be wrong when they begin to  blatantly exhaust any single artist; even digging into the most obscure parts of their catalog? I’ve always loved the Stones. Most casual fans know many of their better known songs and GT has done their typical amazing work bringing these songs out and learnable. But I think anyone might be suspicious when the Stones become a proverbial rabbit hole. Especially after the song dump of previous months. I’m no Sherlock Holmes but something stinks. My only point.

Hmm. I'm a huge Stones fan but get the point totally.  Something very strange going on alright. Main reason I think that is because there is a supposed song request process that supposedly dictates the priorities of song lessons GT put together. I struggle to believe that people are only requesting Stones and scraping the barrel of their catalogue no less. Red House....come on..Red House.  šŸ˜

Written by Jagger and Richards, I don't think the RS version of the song, Blue Turns to Grey, charted in the U.S..  But the cover by Cliff Richard made the top twenty in more than a half-dozen countries... three of 'em #1 or #2.

unfortunately i am seeing little reason to continue with my subscription and have just cancelled it so when this years is over i won't be renewing it, i was hoping there would be a change in GT and more variety of artist for songs lessons would start to appear but yet another Rolling Stones one is the final nail in the coffin for me, i have learnt a lot from this site but it was the song lessons that would've kept me subscribed and i'm just not seeing enough variety with the new offerings.

Posted two minutes before another member expressed disappointment about a RS song not in GT's catalog.   šŸ¤£

Ha!!  Yeah ironic I guess but I'd imagine whole world heard of Angie...not so much these obscure B-sides that I doubt anyone is actually 'requesting'.
