Alright, all it took was a little bit of reading and some common logic.
First off, the article on the scoopthis website is obviously a joke. How can a person sue someone for using chords E and F? There were people using those chords before Metallica, and they're not suing Metallica.
Next, there are dozens of Metallica songs that don't use E and F; actually, they don't have a single song I know of that uses solely E and F.
Finally, according to the Unfaith website, they're not selling any of their songs - they don't have any albums out and the only time their songs are on CDs are for demo purposes. On what basis can Metallica sue them in a civil court? What would they claim as damages?
My goodness, why am I wasting so much of my boss' time on this?
... and that's all I have to say about that.
