I just got a new guitar its a oscar schmidt hollow body its really cool.I was wondering if anyone else likes hollowbody guitars and why.I never thaught I'd want one until I played one at a guitar shop.They have a real nice sound.

Yeah I like hollowbody electrics. You get a much warmer, more natural sound than with solidbodies, at least to my ears. They feed back more, which is annoying, and they are harder to play, but if you want a great warm clean tone, it's worth it.

I must say, that if I had spare money, I would own just about any kind of guitar you could think of. I feel that any type of guitar has a place. I'll probably get a stand up bass first, but an arch top is definately on my list.

I currently acquired a '56 Gibson ES-125 and I like it because it has a totally unique sound great for all styles of playing and it has an infinite sustain.
I have an old '76 Ovation Acoustic. A Flat Iron Mandolin. A recent Fender Squire.
I recently bought the Gothic Edition Les Paul Studio. Black chrome hardware and satin black body with a crescent moon and star inlay on the twelfth fret.
My next purchase will be a Delphi National Resophonic.
