Alright I've posted about my string action before, well I've got problems again. I left my guitar at a friends house overnight and when i went to pick it up the string action was much lower than when i left it. He says that he played it a little but didnt adjust the action. What i'm wondering is, could the truss rod change on its own enough to cause almost a 1/8" change in string height over night? I am a new guitarist so i dont know these things. Any and all help would be appreciated.

It's possible -- humidity and temp changes can reek havok on a guitar. Was it left in a basement or a garage or something of the sort?

Leave your guitar in it's usual location overnight and see if it returns to it's previous state, if not then the adjustments might need to be made.

Yeah guitars are extremely sensitive like that! Tune your guitar in your cold bedroom then walk into a warm living room and all goes to hell!
