I wonder if...
..you took the best 12 tracks off the recorders of guitar playing guys like us and put them no one album- would it be up there as one of the best albums in the world? I have some kewl ideas on my recorder but havent had the chance to make em into real songs.

If I did that, probably not cos my recording skills suck. I'd have to get better recording equipment for that. Plus it would be just guitar n no drums or vox. I'd rather wait til I had a band and a guy who knows what he's doing with the recordings so I could sound a bit better.
Remember, the chickens that fly will always beat the rubber plants that bounce!
