If you own a Fender Tele, tell me everything about it.
Mine:
Midnight Wine Red
2002 Mexican Fender Standard Telecaster
.10-.56 gauge strings
Soon replacing neck pickup with humbucker(not decided on what one yet)
With humbucker comes 11-hole "tortoise" shell pickgaurd and 5-way switching
maple neck

Mexican 72 re-issue Thinline Telecaster

Two covered hum buckers and an F hole (no smutty giggles please !).

I replaced the saddles with graph tech ones and it makes the guitar much more playable. It feels very chunky after a PRS but is still a very nice axe.

Im playing it with Ernie Ball 10s at the moment and it sounds great.

The only thing I donā€™t like about it is the horrible split top peg heads. I looked into replacing them but discovered all of the machine heads I liked required a 10 mm diameter hole in the head stock which would mean drilling out the existing holes and that would mean a lot pf sweat and potential for causing irreparable damage.

I still have the horrible split tops !

Over all 6/10

Really??6/10...The next Tele I want to get is the 72' Tele Custom, with just the neck humbucker. I thought it would get a higher rating. But I guess it all depends on the player.I love Tele's with a passion. I will always have one, no matter what.

Well there has to be something their when the likes of Keith Richards uses 'em. Incidentally I am one of those sad people who names their axes (all started with a Squire strat called "Soup") and yes this one is also called "Keef" !
