Hi, I’m right at the beginning of the course and struggling with chord changes. I’m on the lesson about switching between Am and Em and finding it easier using different finger positions than Lisa is showing. Will this be detrimental to me going forward? Thanks

At the moment you know where your coming from but not where you could be going to.
Your obviously using what feels natural and comfortable to you now. You will find some fingerings will stay the same but others will change . Most often depending on the combination of chords being used. Important thing is you have a guitar in your hands and are practicing . As you go forward and introduce more shapes and fingerings you may find you will use Lisa’s fingering. You could even practice both versions as you go along. Often no right or wrongs here.
