Today is a exciting day for me having finally made up my mind about which lessons to take . I thought this is a Fender site no problems looks like excellent site . I used to enjoy guitar just got so busy had no time ,so now at 58 old will enjoy it when I want to at last . I have a constant  supplemental oxygen supply to use everyday and night , am a retired auto body technician with a lot of lung damage .. The guitar helps me to escape all thoughts I never asked for and is a massive source of comfort , I live hoping to win a lottery or someone who will trade me a lung for one of my good kidneys .lol am saving for some awesome new Fender gear and hope to not have to sell to many of my internal organs to get it  lol

Welcome, Alan!

And welcome to exploring the guitar. I love your perspective - that the silver lining to living with physical limitations can be that you are essentially freed up to become less busy, and to spend quality time pursuing something that brings you joy.

Bravo - and have fun!
