Hi everybody,

I have been on GT for a year, but I haven't used the forum previously :).

I am on Guitar Fundamentals no. 2 slowly trying to progressing to the Blues Course.

I have bought my first electric guitar 20 years ago and ... never leared to play in an organised way, there always has been other stuff (as a job, make ends meet etc.). However with Guitar Tricks and a "little" help from Lisa and Andes (I went through both courses on Level 1) finally I am making some progress.

I am going to drop some queries on forum although I know the best it just to play :).

Cheers,

Johnny

Hey Johnny,

Welcome to the club & long live the blues!

Ask as many questions as you need to, but it sounds like you're organised well enough. Happy playing & merry Christmas.

Drake.

Welcome to the forum.  It's a bit wonky at times, but informative and enjoyable.

Welcome. Guitar playing is like golf. You never stop learning. You never stop getting frustrated at times. But you will see great progress at times and hit a stone wall next. But you will love every minute of it. The advantage over golf is you can have friends over and say check out the new tune I am working on. Instead of saying let's go to the driving range and I will show you my 9 iron shot.

Thank you Guys very much for a nice welcome and a word of encouragement.

The most difficult thing I have is to find more time to spend with my guitar :). However I see a lot of progress after a year spent with Guitar Tricks so far.

Thank you Lisa, I am definitely going to play over your Fundamentals part 2 course. You have a different approach than Andres and I have learnt during part 1 from both of you a lot. Apart from that you have a very nice voice and I like playing your songs :).

All the best

Johnny
