Smart TV and videos on GT site

yes same problem on my apple computer running google chrome,all of a sudden it wont play videos.

I have the same problem. laptop and phone work fine but LG oled 55 now won't play vdeos.

There is an issue with the LG and Samsung Smart TVs being able to play our website's videos. We have narrowed it down to the operating systems on those devices. I had been using my Samsung smart tv with no problems for a year, then it started recently, and Samsung support still maintains it's because of some updates on the part of the video formatting used by GT.

I've given up on trying to solve the problem, and now just use my laptop or phone, not as convenient, but better than nothing.

Hey I thought it was me!!!!!!!!! I've been using my smart tv no worries for a year and suddenly videos don't work. Everything else YouTube etc etc fine.... only gt suddenly stopped. Please please gt take this seriously as you just got 150 bucks off me and compatibility screwed me up. It's not the smart tv's...its something your end has changed?

It is better than nothing Elias but it's a decline in service and bad news if don't have a computer.

Videos on Fender Play work fine.

Yeah it's the good old runaround thing. Sorry to hear that others are having the same problem.

Hi Admin'. You say the issue is not stemming from you, but obviously something has changed your end to suddenly make only GT video not work on smart TVs that were not a problem previously. So any chance of digging a bit deeper for us...get your tech's onto it for us? I have just re-subscribed and now can't use.

Having same issue here on Samsung TV. Not ideal for me as this puts me in my office now while my wife is trying to sleep in the next room. It was a much better user experience on the TV too. Do both TV brands use the same operating system? And both independently applied patches to apparently fix something or close a security gap?

It seems extremely unlikely aye.

Out of nowhere it worked when I tried it for the first time in weeks! Fingers crossed that it stays that way!
