Bought a pair of Mx8 studio monitors, an EVH guitar and a Gibson Les Paul Studio so hearing my lousy playinjg shouldn't be an issue now. Just to reiterate, my "ultimate' goal is to be able to play through this Boston song, but I think I'm more suited for "Mary had a little lamb' right now. I know a lot of the chords/shapes and some common scales, but have a lot of work to go. I'd consider myself a 1.5-2 guitars level player right now. But I'll let you determine how I should proceed. I've signed up for 4 lessons so far, but I'm sure it will take quite a few more to reach my goal. I also spaced them 2 weeks apart to give me time to work on my 'homework'.
