Hello Tom:

The one thing I was hoping to get out of the Clapton tutorial was that lick you here so much on display when he plays I shot the sherrif at at least two of the crossroads music festivals

It is a five note sequence that I would love to get under my fingers

I would call this claptons signature lick

Do you think you could do a channel episode on this or add a lesson to the clapton tutorial

It’s a five note sequence repeated over and over

give sheriff a listen especially the crossroads Dallas solo

Hi guys,

I don't think I can add to the Clapton study. But it seems like the riff you're talking about is this:

D F D F D C played on the 1st and second strings, 10th & 13th fret with hammer-on/pull-offs on the 3rd, 4th & 5th notes. Is this the one? Defitely a classic riff! :)
