Sorry for answering so late, but I had an observation I wanted to share.

Please note that strings 1-2-3 are the same fretting as simple C like in Fundamentals I. This is the standard C chord from which our simple C was derived.

It seems as if our left hand gives us most of the trouble, but with the spider walking exercise and the strumming of the simple C, our right hand is also being trained to hit just the string and/or strings we want to play. This is still a problem with me today, the ability to hit only the string(s) I want.

I am so impressed with this course and for me, this stuff is filling in the things I never knew because I did not take lessons or buy the method books (no online, back then).
