All of my leads are sounding the same. Wether in A minor Pentatonic or in another key, everything sounds the same. Same pull offs, hammer ons, bends, etc.. Blah blah blah... getting old. HELP!

Hi stuboy64,

Sounds like you need to learn some new scales! I've completely hit plateaus like that before as well. I highly suggest learning some new scales, check these out:

Jazz: https://www.guitartricks.com/lesson.php?input=21866&s_id=1757

Minor/Major in Rock: https://www.guitartricks.com/lesson.php?input=20152&s_id=1586

Another really great way to boost your lead playing is to study other guitarists, or songs with great solos. Check out our songs page and find a song with some leads that you like and learn how to play them.

Hope that helps!
