can I learn more of how to teach?

dear admin,
I've played for a long time and keep learning too of course, but I wonder is there a area here where I can improve my teaching skills?
I am self taught on guitar so never had a lesson. I expect to learn a lot from taking the lessons here, but I wouldn't know a good one from a better one. For the sake of my future students, is there any consensus on better teaching methods for beginners?
