Yes you are right, this is a very capable amp by the looks and sounds.
I think it's definitely my ability to get the tone I want, I'll have to put more time and effort in to practice, ( which I'm doing ) and hopefully do the amp justice one day, fingers crossed.
I'll leave the effects pedal then for the time being.
