WOW this looks so good! The new layout is awesome! Aesthetically pleasing as well as functional. It has a real polished look to it and the whole layout makes more sense now. I'm loving the My Progress tab. Definitely been impressed with the added content and changes you guys have made since I signed up! Thumbs up from me!

Hey guys,

Thanks so much for the positive feedback! It was a big project and we're very happy with how it all turned out. There are still some improvements we will be releasing during the next few weeks. Let us know if there's anything you would like to see.

I'm liking the new look, particularly the progress tab. Just when I didn't think you could get better!

As I asked before (https://www.guitartricks.com/forum/showthread.php?t=39143 "Favorites organized by folders") and in off-line email, a way to organize the Favorites page would be MOST appreciated (e.g., click and drag, folder creation).

Hi John,

We put the favorites page feature on our dev list, so we will be working on that and releasing with a future update. Thanks for reminding us of that idea.

Having some trouble on the new site. Sometimes after I scroll down it will not let me scroll back up. It's like the top part of the part of the page is missing. I was working on I'm so lonesome I could cry and when I scrolled to the bottom to look at the music and tried to go back to the top it would not let me go all the way to where the video is. When I went back to the home page where you can hit the tab to submit feedback it would not let me do that or go back to the old site. It's not that I have an old computer. It's a 2 month old Dell.

When stuff like that happens try using a different web browser. sometimes that can help. Which one are you using?

Like the look & feel of the new version, great job. Would like to have My Guitar Tricks in the menu at all times so I can get back to my progress page from anywhere in the site.

Cheers,

Rich.

This is a VERY good suggestion!

I would also like to add that I would like to instantly go to my favorite lessons or history of lessons when landing on the starting page or from lessons. Unfortunately for me "My last lesson" simply doesn't suffice.

The old site had this at the top. Would like to see that returned. This is something alongside "My progress" that should be accessible from everywhere on the site. Would be much easier to jump from lesson to lesson.

With the current "new site" when I'm learning a lesson I need to go to the main page, then to my progress, then to my history to access this. This is inefficient!

Furthermore I have to offer my compliments on how the new site navigates. Seems a lot more logical to divide beginner, experienced and songs and move to different categories from there.

I can't say I like the look of the site. I don't get the stage curtains look and the cheesy photos. I can't say I loved it on the iPad, and it's the same dealio on the web. If it wasn't for the responsive design (well done on that one) I would have thought I was back in 2002, with the fonts on the main page. The navigation is a lot more straight forward, so that's good. But it'd be nice if you had some site themes to choose from. Just mah two cents...

I would like to see the numbering on the lines (strings) in contrasting colors.. The line makes some fret numbers hard to distinguish.. Like the 0 looks like and 8.. Most of this problem may be related to my vision. But I can't be the only one with old eyes and old glasses.
Maybe make the string lines thinner as well as having contrasting colors.

Hey Ben,

Great to hear you guys are appreciating our feedback. I was just exploring some features from the new site and I landed on the instructors page.

It is great that all the tutorials are listed below the instructor when I click on them but I cannot filter them!

With lessons from Anders for example who have a very extensive catalogue of lessons it would be great to be able to filter them. Not only on style, published (old to new and new to old), difficulty but also on what it exactly focuses. For example with Ben Lindholm, he teaches some songs, but others focus on practice, developing techniques etc.

If I would be able to filter the instructors catalogue to all these things mentioned above it would boost the overall ease and user experience a lot!
