52 years late

Hello everyone. My name is Phil. I live in Canada and have been a member of this site for a short while. I am only now trying to apply myself and learn this instrument. I am encountering difficulty using my fingers and getting them to go where I want them too. I have no feeling in my fingers since I completed treatments for Non-Hodgkins cancer. The chemo and radiation have reeked havoc on my nervous system. But I figure I will try guitar to see if I can regain some feeling in my hands. I'm not going to let that stop me:) I currently use 4 different guitars: Martin D18, Martin 12 string, Fender Select Strat and a Gibson Less Paul Classic. Sometimes I'll play it through my Blackstar ID 100 TVP. I find this a lot of fun. Music is so relaxing. So, that being said; here I am!
