I was going strictly by the sound. None of the chords are sustained but are moving from chord to chord by mere beats. I dropped all the theory and just recorded then listened. Take the quartal harmony in C as a sub for the Db7alt. After I heard the the Gb resolution my comment was "Whoa" ...very cool.
