John from Toronto

My name is John, and this is my first posting. I became a member a few weeks back and I am thrilled that I did. I want to start off by saying that I've taken "private" lessons, and I've taken other "comprehensive" courses with oodles of DVD's and lesson books, and a "musical theory secret" course, and each one of these has hooked me in the beginning, but ultimately left me confused and bored, resulting in my acoustic back in the case and not in my hands.
Considering all that this site has to offer every level of player, it is an absolute bargain. I've already gained more confidence and ease with the guitar in two weeks through my beginner lessons with Chrisopher Schlegel (thank you Christopher) then I did in two months with a private instructor.
I mean, just Christopher's lessons alone are worth the price, but from what I've seen from the other instructors, including Caren Armstrong and Anders Mouridsen i figure I've hit pay dirt!
