Hi,

I thought that B dim was B, D, F, but Chord Finder also has a A flat.

Is that not B dim 7?

If you do select B Dim 7 in Chord finder you also get B,D,F and A flat, but different variations.

Why is that?

Just to provide more variations & options. There were only 3 "variation" buttons on the interface & they had to pick three representative examples. Obviously, there are many more possible ways to play any given chord.
