This is totally a long shot but , has anyone ever heard of any type of Mac font that allows for circled numbers or something somebody has used for writing tabs specifically with tapping in mind?

So far I've been putting the right hand taps in brackets

(courier 9pt)
p h t p h t p h t
-------------------------------
--5--8--12--5--8--12--5--8--12-
-------------------------------
-------------------------------
-------------------------------
-------------------------------
1 4 [1] 1 4 [1] 1 4 [1]

...but it takes major time to get the spacing right and check for accuracy, especially when I get into doing multiple finger stuff.
Any ideas on some other way of doing it besides brackets? Like a font that does circled numbers when you press the shift key or something?

I'm not exactly sure what you mean but....
Why not use symbols instead of the numbers? I'm assuming the number mean your fingers and in multi-tapping why not do something like
Ü - 1
ø - 2
Ä - 3
à - 4
for example? Or have I totally missed the point?...As for special fonts, the only thing I can think of is looking through some web sites...asking people who make their own fonts if they'd be prepared to make a "Tapping" font....
There you go, completely off the ball!

Don't worry too much about me, ignore me long enough and I'll go away.
