Hi Im really struggling to find a decent distortion pedal. Im currently using a way huge green rhino, which i think of as more a clean od, i absolutely love this pedal and also the way huge pork loin which is a bit to understated to be much of anything. Im still undecided on this one sometimes i love it and other times its just to subtle. Ive tried the proco rat and loved the sound but to much buzz and just wouldnt play with other pedals also the power input wouldnt fit my pedal board. I also had the fulltone ocd which just didnt do it for me, Im playing mainly blues some hard rock. i can spend upto 200 pounds for the right distortion as sick of buying just to sell at a loss, help.

You might wanna try the Vox (Joe Satriani) Satchurator. A nice wide range of tones, at a great price. These can be found on Ebay for well under $100. Don't let people tell you, "this one stinks, that one's great" or whatever. My experience has been that you may have to try dozens before settling on one. Or two.....maybe more.....Then you change it again.....One size does NOT fit all. It's called G.A.S (gear acquisition syndrome).....A wonderful lifelong affliction.
