Fretsmith - what are your thoughts on the Summit CT. It's less than $1,000 US. It has a fixed bridge, which is what I want. Others I've been looking at have a tremolo system.

At the price, it seems too good to be true :-). Unfortunately not in stock in any guitar centers around me.

Looking at the Icon convertible. Wow, what a deal at $1400! Seems like a very versatile guitar. None in the stores either...:-(
