What are the best lesson's on this site to learn to harmonize a scale within a key using a chord progression major and minor. Learning harmony up and down the neck is something I want to be more proficient in, specifically for rock, metal or blues guitar.

I've been working on a tutorial that explains this in depth. But it's not done yet. :) For now, there is this tutorial that Anders did that kind of covers it.

There are songs that use it.

There is also this channel episode that shows an example of how to do it!

And this tutorial on basic music theory explains the fundamentals of how a scale is harmonized into chords. That is the foundation of harmony soloing!

Hope this helps!

I'll start with these lesson's, I'm sure I know some of this material. My goal is to be able to transfer the information into other key's, whether they be Major or Minor as well as using the Jazz chord progressions using Major 7th's and Minor 7th's. I'll get started, looking forward to future lesson's covering theory.
