Theres a lotta people to pick but here's my choice.

Lead Guitar: Slash
Bass: Flea
Drummer: Lars Ulrich
Keyboard: Dizzy Reed, (not really into keyboards)
Singer: Eddie Vedder
Rhythm Guitar: The Edge

Sorry but my band will have a rythm guitarist for that extra depth. I know there's a lotta contradictin sounds there, n it probably wouldnt work, but what the hey, I don't make bands up.

guitar- john petrucci

drums- john bonham (the best)

bass- steve harris

vocals- robert plant or bruce dickinson
To improve technique and of course trying to keep all as clean as possible. I know my own limits and speed limits and so on I never play anything I'm not capable of. That wouldn't make any sense. After three years of playing I tried to play everything as fast as possible and that sounded, I would say, like shit, and I didn't realize that if I'd play bit slower things than I was capable of playing then everything would sound much better.

Three - five mo-fos who when put on the same stage will hit the audience with a dynamic, high energy show with great musical depth. One might call that "ripping it up."

Guitar1: Randy Rhoads
Guitar2: Yngwie Malmsteen
Bass: Cliff Burton
Singer: Rob Halford
Drums: Nicko McBrain
Stagedivers: Motörhead + Guns N Roses

Let them play some heavy metal at 280 bpm,
combine with some good stage-effects, bombs,
lots of fire and dragons(?). If I got to see
that, I could die as a happy man.

Band 1:
Singer: james dean bradfield.
guitarist: james dean brad field
Bass: peter hook,
Drums: dave Grohl.
Keyboard: johny greenwood

Band2:
Singer: Iggy pop
guitarist: Mani (ex stone roses)
Bass: Fat tony.
Drums: Tres cool, or some other fast punk drummer.
Keyboard: Ray Manzerek (didn't expect that one did ya).

and the center piece of this art rock fest, would be Guns and roses, being painted in extermly high concentration acid, Eddi Vedder, and other simple minded c0ck rockers will be burried alive, and the end to mindless metal... and the only bands left over would be those who could write a decent song, regardles of wether they can play 1200 bpm, or 12 bpm (doesn't matter what genre)... the world needs some decent song writers, not more cheese... grrr

Vocals Grace Slick
guitar Tony Iommi

Keys Greg Rolie
Drums Carl Palmer

I think this would be interesting to say the least and as far as I know we wouldn't have to dig any of these guys up.

John Squire was the excellent, excellent legend of a guitarist in The Stone Roses, now with The Seahorses.

Mani was the drummer Squire refused to play with, even though hes clearly oine of the best rock drummers to emerge in the last 30 years(Squire would only practice with a drum machine)

And Guns N' Roses aren't cheesy!

I'd also add that Eddy Vedder has written some damn good songs. Individual tastes my friend!

Led Zepplin: I'm pretty sure Mani played guitar in stone roses, and now plays basss in Primal scream (Although he could have played bass in the roses)...

Rask: lol, fair enough, but to me it sounds like a load of self centered shallow chavanist bullchasivt...

I'm 100% sure that Reni was the drummer (he was a great drummer)..
Now, there's confusion as to who played guitar... was it squire as you say or was it mani?

educatedfilm shut the f*uck up! One song made by guns n roses or eddie vedder is better than all the material made by those people you put in your super band. Slash kicks malmsteem (and all the shredders) ass every day of the week, dave grohl sucks dick and Iggi pop...ha, what a joke!

Again, personal tastes. I could name countless artists that I think are way better than every artist I've seen posted here, but that's based entirely on my own preferences and it's no reason to go below the belt.

So chill.
NOW.
