Let me start by saying that I'm highly illiterate when it comes to the technical stuff. I really want to learn more of the structure of a song in each and every part. Is there software available that can separate tracks from a song that is already mixed? What I would like to do is this: Take any digital song I have on my computer, input it into the software and separate or remove the vocals, bass, keyboard and rhythm and lead guitar parts so I can dissect each individual part. Possible on a working man's budget, or no? Thanks in advance for any help.

Unless you have the individual tracks that were used to master the song, I don't think so. If there is, it would be news to me.
