I have recently purchased a Pedal Box(Boss BCB6) containing the following units
Parameters, Chorus, Overdrive, Compression Sustainer,Superphaser.
It has been hooked up to my Fender Superchamp x2 amp which I am trying to play using my Fender Stratcaster. The sound that I get is too complex.
Does anyone have an approach as to how to go about separating sounds using the controls to get simple sound first and then add on other sounds? I want to turn off all other extraneous controls and gradually start building. Any ideas?
I will appreciate any help.

Hi Peterz..
Here is tutorials by Andy Gurley on pedals.
They are long but may help you out.

http://www.guitartricks.com/lesson.php?input=15192

You could also seach the internet for the Manual of each individual pedal.

First I would set guitar clean. No gain.
Then try turning each pedal knob to the lowest parameter (counter clockwise) have only one pedal active at a time (light out)
the model number you put in is for the box so don't surf the internet with that number.

Take thsi with a grain of salt as I still a beginer. I still trying to fugure my modeling amp out.
good luck

hi again peter
you could also go to "pursuit of tones" with Andy Gurley found on the bottom left of the Home Page. it covers setting up guitars, amps and effects.

Peterz
first of all, does your amp has an effect loop? If you did experiment with it?

peter, Here is a demo of your amp. Fender Superchamp x2

I noticed that it has a clean channel. Set it on clean then start with the pedal board setting as shown earlier in this link
