Hey everyone,

Is there any style/technique specific to the 12-string guitar? I know not generally, but I'm interested to see if there's any kinda "advanced" techniques which are primarily used with 12-string.

I just got a 12-string and I love it!

I do not think (maybe wrongly) that there is a specific style/technique for a 12 strings. I would experiment with the sound, though, and the way the strings are tuned to create interesting things.

It's not easy to pick a 12-string, but it sounds pretty. I have a Martin 12-string. Mostly strum it when I play in church, and use my classical guitar for fingerpicking. Please keep me posted if you learn of new 12-string techniques. I would be interested to learn too! ♪•*¨*•.¸¸.•*¨*•
