hey gang I have a squier strat..

I just bought a Squier deluxe strat. looks awesome. Plays very nice. The frets are close to perfect. The setup out of the box is great. The pickups are the only limiting factors. The pickups are a little too hot/muddy.
I will use this guitar as my travel/practice guitar.
I also own an American select strat and a Suhr strat. The Squier isn't too far away in quality from these higher priced guitars.
The Squier is a very good guitar for just about anyone.

To get a nice blues tone is in the player's hands. Just about any style and type of guitar has been used by blues guitarists. A person could make a 2X4 with one string sound great and communicate their feelings. Of course it would take effort, practice and time to make it sound great. But, with that in mind. Any guitar in which you connect with is a great guitar for you.
