I might be wrong but this looks a lot like honeyburst to me.

thats what I thought but compared to any other honey burst finishes, this burst is much darker.

My first thought was a sunburst...but I'm certainly no expert. It's definitely not a tobacco burst, and if it's not a honey burst, I'm not sure what's left.

Nice looking guitar. I have an lp studio and I love it. My strat is feeling lonely.

The color is called 'Faded Iced Tea'.

I've always been a solid color (Gold Top!) or translucent fan but if I tended towards a 'burst of some sort, it would be that color. Has a nice hue to it.

Congrats on the score! $150 is a steal!

I have the same guitar and it's a Honey Burst, yours might be too. I modded it with some aftermarket pickups, changed the knobs and I took off most of the polyurethane shine, it was too "lollypop" for my tastes! It has a nice Satin look to it now. Oh and I did my very first fret job on it!

One question though:What's that written on the Truss Rod Cover? Mine says "Les Paul Standard".

mine says "Gibson" on the trust cover. I looked up the serial number and its from 1991 and made in Korea. I gotta say after I cleaned it up and replaced the control nobs (they didint work) it sounded absolutely amazing. even comparable to a gibson les paul standard. the guy I bought it from even gave me a hard shell case with it and 4 pairs of Ernie ball super slinkys! best 150$ iv ever spent.

Bro, that makes it an even better score!

Made in Korea and Made in Japan Epi's are highly valued and much sought after amongst Epiphone players! Congrats!

Enjoy and Rock On! :D
