I'm CallieIsHere. I am an American living full-time in Mexico. I started taking guitar lessons from a Canadian full-timer in May, though I've been messing around with the guitar since late last year. I've already had one recital/concert, and I played 'Ordinary World' by Duran Duran. I'm still learning more and more every day. I am very into classical pieces, and I would love to learn more on that.
The guitars I play are a Takamine EG-240 Electric-Acoustic and a Yamaha APX-IONA Electric-Classical. I've got my eye on a couple others, including a ESP EC-256 Electric and the Vintage Gibson Dove Acoustic.
I've also been playing the piano on and off for about 6 years.
This forum looked like one of the best guitar forums, with lots of resources and help from guitar players. I am planning on being a regular here. ;)
